Hove Park is popular with local residents, dog walkers and runners. The park covers almost 40 acres and features a mix of large areas of open grass, mature trees, flower beds, sports and play facilities.
It's one of 8 parks in the city recognised by the Green Flag award scheme.
Hove Park is always open, all year round. The Pavilion Tea Rooms is open daily from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

There's a miniature steam railway running along the western edge of the park.
At the eastern edge of the park is the Fingermaze, a piece of public sculpture carved into the park and lined with stone and lime mortar. The Fingermaze is a giant fingerprint incorporating a Cretan labyrinth within its whirling design.
Hove Park's great claim to fame, the Goldstone, lies in its southwest corner. This huge rock, weighing about 20 tons, is commonly believed to have been used by the Druids for worship. The shape of a human face is clearly visible in the stone - have a good look and you'll spot it. Find out more about the Goldstone.

Accessible pathways run throughout the park. There are gentle sloping paths towards the eastern end and alternative ramps alongside steps. There are also many benches throughout the park. The Pavilion Tea Rooms are wheelchair accessible, and accessible toilets are available nearby.
