A guide to sports facilities we provide along the seafront.

Volleyball

There is a volleyball court on the lower esplanade between the piers. To book the court from April to September, please contact the seafront office.

Volleyball court costs

Out of season, the court is free for anyone to use, just bring your own equipment and play. 

Please be aware that out of season the seafront office does reserve the right to operate and charge for the court based on forecast weather conditions and booking requests.

Please remember to share the court with other people who want to use it out of season and please wear suitable footwear, as we do not maintain or inspect it October to March.
