Community Works helps local organisations and individuals across the city make a difference to local lives and issues. This can be anyone from community groups and voluntary organisations and volunteers to businesses and public sector organisations.

Offers assessment, advice and support for people in Brighton and Hove who do not have an existing diagnosis of dementia. The memory assessment service provides access to memory testing and diagnosis and offers advice from trained advisers.

Brighton and Hove Recovery College uses education in a supportive learning environment to help people with mental health challenges become experts in their own self-care and recovery.

Courses are co-produced and co-delivered by people with lived experience of mental health challenges and people who have gained experience through training or work. They range from one-day workshops to longer courses running for eight weeks, on subjects including 'Managing Depression', 'Work and Wellbeing', 'Returning to Learning' and 'Wellbeing in the Wild for Men'

Brighton and Hove Volunteer Search is a free local service provided by Community Base listing volunteer opportunities in Brighton and Hove.

The volunteers are usually local people who give their time to help others and to improve the quality of the care offered to the patients at the 5 sites.

A local peer led support group adults who have been diagnosed or actively seeking diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Monthly meetings offer support, coping strategies and raising awareness.
