Why we publicise pending applications
In accordance with the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005 and on behalf of the General Register Office, we're required to publicise all pending applications for approved venue status to hold ceremonies.
The public notice consultation runs for 21 days from the date of the notice.
Applications and plans under consultation can be viewed at the address below by appointment.

for the Solemnisation of Marriages and the registration of Civil Partnerships pursuant to The Marriage and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises)( Amended) Regulations 2011.
A copy of the Application and the accompanying plan may be inspected at the Town Hall, Bartholomews, Brighton between 9.30 am and 5 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays or between 10am and 5 pm on Wednesdays.
