An existing bench dedication can be renewed for between £1,200 and £1,800.
If the dedication is shared, the cost is between £850 and £1,150.

We install benches in carefully selected public locations in the city, including in many of our parks and green spaces, along the seafront, and on-street. Locations are subject to availability and approval. We cannot guarantee specific locations. We may move benches where necessary, but we'll inform you if that's the case.
Unfortunately, we no longer offer adoptions for existing benches.
We can provide wording options for plaques, but you are responsible for the accuracy of wording. We must approve all wording, designs, and locations before we install your bench.
All benches, plaques, and sites remain the property of the council.
We will make all reasonable efforts to maintain benches. Bench maintenance normally occurs no more than once every five years. If a bench is damaged and we need to remove it, we can't guarantee a replacement.
Your donation means that your dedication will remain on your chosen bench for 10 years. The dedication is renewable.
If you do not choose to renew after 10 years, the bench will be available for someone else to dedicate.
