What you'll need to apply

Letter of approval

You need to provide a letter from the headteacher of your school or the manager of your nursery.

This letter must:

  • list the teaching staff or nursery workers employed - this must show their job title
  • confirm the number of teaching or nursery staff
  • be on headed paper
  • be signed by the head teacher or nursery manager
  • be dated within the last 3 months

Active Travel Plan

You need to complete an Active Travel Plan. 

Apply online for school and nursery parking permits

You cannot renew a school and nursery parking permit. If you need a new permit start a new application.
