ESOL for work

English Skills for Life
You will learn vocabulary and grammar for everyday situations in the UK.
These classes will help you develop skills in:

ESOL qualification classes
ESOL qualification classes cover:

- writing
There are exams and certificates are awarded for each skill.
There are 5 levels of qualifications - Entry 1 to Level 2.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
IELTS is a qualification you can take if you want to apply for university in the UK.
It tests your reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities to check that you have the necessary vocabulary and English skills to study at university.
Some employers might ask you to take IELTS. It might also be a requirement for some types of UK visas.

Secure English Language Test (SELT)
If you need to show your English level for your citizenship application or settlement in the UK, you will need to take a Secure English Language Test (SELT).
The test you take will depend on your visa requirements.
