What floor plans are for and how to make one for your planning application.
When you may need a floor plan
These may be requested for new development, or for alterations. Please highlight any demolition (if applicable). If your proposal relates simply to a change of use, a floor plan may not be necessary.
Floor plans (and elevations) should be at a scale of 1:100, or 1:50 for listed buildings.
Please remember to include existing and proposed plans, and give your documents a logical name or title.
If the application is retrospective pre-existing floor plans will be required.
