Apply for our major development pre-application advice service

If you're thinking about a major residential or commercial development, we can give you advice.

This includes:

  • 10 or more units or dwellings of residential accommodation
  • site area exceeding 0.5 hectares, where it is not known how many residential units are being created
  • non-residential development of 1000 square metres or more
  • commercial development site area is 1 hectare or more

To commission pre-application advice from the Planning and Building Control service for a major development scheme, complete the major development pre-application advice form.

Email your completed form with any attachments to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk.

You can book this service before a complete package of information is available.

Fees

Our fees, including VAT at 20%, are shown in the tables below.

Payment for this service is made through our online payments page. The product name shown on the page is “Products & Services - BHCC Pre Application Planning Advice”.
