Planning application comments sent by email or letter
We have recently been receiving a large number of comments by both letter and email for several planning applications.
Unfortunately, we currently have a backlog in uploading these comments to the planning register. We are unable to let you know when we have received the comments or confirm when an email has been published.
You can see all comments on an application that have been published to date by searching for the application on our Simple Search web page.
All comments we receive will be uploaded in good time for the case officer to consider them when they are preparing their reports and recommendations for the Planning Committee.
Publishing your comments automatically
You can also submit your comments through the online planning register, where they are published automatically. Details on how to register can be found on our planning portal.
