Why we are processing your data
We are collecting and processing your data for the purpose of obtaining views of people who have received care and support services paid for or arranged by Health & Adult Social care.
The council provides care services as regulated by the Care Act 2014 and this survey is being undertaken under the lawful basis of consent and you are under no obligation to complete the survey, but by taking part in the survey you are consenting to the use of your data for this purpose, with a view to informing the provision of better services.
There is a second lawful basis of processing is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest this is to respect the essence of the right to data protection and provide for suitable and specific measures to safeguard the fundamental rights and the interests of the data subject or service user.
If you explicitly ask for information or advice then it is our obligation to contact you.
We will hold your raw data until 31 July 2019, but if in the course of responding to the survey you disclosed information that requires the council to take action to safeguard your or other persons welfare then information will be share accordingly and will be retained in line with social services retention schedules is used
