How and why your data will be used
Your information will be used to sign you up to receive our Homing In newsletter via email. As the newsletter is only available to council tenants and leaseholders, your information will be checked against existing records to ensure eligibility.
We may also use your data to update our existing records, in the interest of data accuracy.
Our lawful basis for processing is performance of a task carried out in the public interest or official authority.
Who we will share your data with
Your data will be shared with our Digital Communications Team for the purpose of sending you Homing In newsletters.
How long we will hold your data (retention)
For council tenants, we will hold your information for the life of your tenancy plus six years and for leaseholders, for the life your lease plus 12 years.
Transferring data outside the European Economic Area
Your information is not processed outside of the European Economic Area.

We aim to resolve all complaints about how we handle personal information. You also have the right to make a complaint about data protection to the Information Commissioner's Office.
